Hoop Vida Comunidad

The Vision

As a lover of basketball since I was a little girl, I have always dreamed to build a brand and organization that provides value to the basketball community and the world.

Due to the limitations set by my parents, I was not exposed to AAU or travel teams. It was not until college when I played an official game. When I continued my college education in Washington state, I realized that Modesto also has its own limitations within the context of basketball, such as: gym access, expensive programs and community participation.

I want to change that by providing opportunities that not only encourage physical activity, but also highlights mental health awareness and exposes individuals to experiences that intersect with basketball.

The commitment is to
  • Contribute to economical development and family positivity
  • Increase the output of professional athletes from the Central Valley
  • Provide support to the rise of women's basketball
  • Initiate and build networking systems for coaches/trainers and their respective programs

The Goal

Join the Committee

  • Help plan and execute events, clinics, etc.

  • Volunteer on your own time; flexibility

  • Virtual meetings

  • Access to gear when available
